The Team

David Beardsmore

Born and bred in Wigan, David attended Hindley and Abram Grammar School before going on to study law at Liverpool University. He qualified in 1973 and later the same year joined Vincent & Co. He became a partner of the firm in 1975 and subsequently became senior partner.

David has practiced in a broad range of areas but now specialises in property law, dealing with both residential and commercial property.

When not in the office David enjoys spending time on the golf course and gardening.

Philip Bachmayer

Having obtained a London University Law Degree, Philip qualified as a Solicitor in 1980 and undertook commercial conveyancing, initially at Warrington & Runcorn Development Corporation and thereafter, at London Transport.

Returning to the North West, he joined Vincent & Co and became a Partner in 2001.

Philip specialises in commercial conveyancing, wills, probate and administration of estates.  He also provides advice to our more mature clients regarding enduring power of attorney and court of protection matters.

When not working he enjoys attending the theatre and walking with his family.

Leanne Williams

Leanne studied law at the University of Warwick. She trained and qualified in 2004 at Hill Dickinson LLP before joining Vincent & Co in April 2007.

Leanne is our family law specialist but has knowledge and expertise in many different areas of law. Her current case load includes divorce cases, disputes over children, pre-nuptial agreements, probate and conveyancing matters.

Born and still residing in Wigan, Leanne spends most of her spare time chasing after her young daughter but also enjoys watching rugby league and supports Wigan Warriors.

Support Staff

We also have excellent support staff, some of who have been with us for many years, giving continuity. They are able to give easy to understand advice, assistance and accurate updates.
